All pages and images on Malebodymods.com (hereafter referred to as MBM or the website) is copyright © 2008-2013 Malebodymods.com, unless otherwise noted. All rights reserved. Duplication or distribution of this media and website content is forbidden except with the express written permission of MBM. Many of these pages contain documentation of dangerous or potentially life-threatening activities of questionable legality – MBM accepts no responsibility or liability for the actions of others and urges anyone interested in the subjects contained herein to educate themselves completely and seek professional assistance. Experiences, articles, and pictures on MBM are not an endorsement and not necessarily representative of the opinions of MBM or its staff. MBM content is moderated for site integrity and compliance with the terms of use and decisions to release such content from the moderation queue is at the sole discretion of MBM and its staff. This includes all content posted publicly and in personal profiles. All opinions expressed by the users and members of MBM should not be construed to mean endorsement, approval, or agreement by MBM or its staff, and should be considered to be wholly the opinion of the author of the content. MBM cannot assume responsibility for loss of access to the website due to reasons outside of our control. This can be, but is not limited to, government restrictions on access, an Internet service provider (ISP) restricting your access, or various maladies that occur to your own personal computer equipment. Access to MBM is “at will” of the website and its staff and can be rescinded without refund of subscription fees for violations of these terms of service.

User/Member Terms
The use of this website is restricted to adults only. MBM considers adults to be those persons who are at least the age of majority, generally considered reaching the age of at least 18 years. If you are found to not be of the age of majority in the country where you access this site, your account will be canceled and subscription fees refunded to the account you used to sign up to the site.

A PROFILE PHOTO IS REQUIRED. If you fail to provide an appropriate photo, your account can be placed in suspended status. Your profile photo must be a photo of yourself (your face need not be shown), and preferably of a male body modification on yourself OR be a photo of a male body modification to which you hold the copyright, license, or have the permission of the owner of the photo to use. This permission must be obtained prior to placing the photo on MBM, and will be reviewed by the website staff. CARTOON IMAGES, PHOTOS OF STUFFED ANIMALS, AND PHOTOS OF OTHER INANIMATE OBJECTS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE! ANY photos of females are prohibited with the only exception being that you are a female and you post a photo of yourself without nudity to satisfy the profile photo requirement. Failure to submit an appropriate photo within 7 days of activating your membership on the website will result in your account being suspended with no pro-rated refund of subscription fees paid to MBM. Your account will be reactivated once you are in compliance with the profile photo requirement. The account must be reactivated manually by the administrators. As such, you should contact a site administrator if you find your account in suspension.

You will know your account does not have an acceptable profile photo if your profile displays a yellow image with red letters that states, "Profile Photo Required to Avoid Account Suspension".

Profiles on MBM have many fields that need to be filled out. ALL fields should have some information placed in them. The only field that can have an entry of “none” is the field for modifications you already have, should you not have any modifications. All other fields must have an answer provided. Should a profile not be completely filled out, the profile can be suspended, at which point you will need to contact an MBM administrator to restore your access.

If you live in the United States, we require that you not only identify your country of residence, but also your state of residence. US based users that do not have their state listed in their profile may have their account suspended.

Each user creates an account that contains a user ID and a password. Your user ID and password is for your use only. Lending your ID and password to another person constitutes a violation of these terms of service.

At no time may you threaten or harass another MBM member or the website administrators. Should you encounter harassment, you should contact an MBM administrator to report this activity. Your concern will be noted and investigated by the administrators of the website to verify the claims made in the complaint. If abuse is proven, resolution of the complaint shall be made by the administrators of the website and can include a minor reprimand to the abusing user, up to termination of the abusers account for a Terms of Service violation.

Subscription Costs & Renewal
The standard subscription cost for membership to MaleBodyMods.com is US$10 every six months and grants full access to the site with the exception of some user groups (under the groups menu link) which may have limited membership. Continued access is dependent upon adhering to our site Terms of Service.

If you are paying with an "e-Cheque", payment takes about FIVE business days to clear on PayPal. You will NOT have access to the site until payment clears.

IMPORTANT: All subscribers must be manually approved by a moderator once their account is funded. You will not get "instant access", it will take 12-24 hours for your account to be activated. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE A SECOND TIME! Allow 12-24 hours for your account to be activated by a moderator. Prevent account activation delays: Please ensure that you respond to our e-mail verification notice (sent to your e-mail account) within ONE HOUR from signing up!! If more than 24 hours have passed, please use the "CONTACT US" button below.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the then current rate for subscriptions (presently US$10 for six months). Should you desire to cancel your subscription, you need to cancel it through Paypal PRIOR to the expiration date of your membership, and your subscription to MBM will be shut off automatically. It is the user's responsibility to cancel their membership should they desire to do so, and if it is not done before your subscription renews no refund will be made.

Privacy
MBM maintains the following personal information about your account:

1. The e-mail address used to register your MBM account.
2. A log of the ISP from which you access the website.
3. The state, province, region, and/or country you normally visit the website from.
4. Your age/Date of birth.

Any personal information collected by MBM will be for the sole use of MBM in administering the website. Generally MBM does not save personally identifying information in any form except as noted above. Neither MBM, nor its staff, will knowingly share this information with third-parties without a court order or your permission to do so. However, your subscription fees are processed through a third-party servicer (IE PayPal) and the information you provide them is subject to the privacy policy of that third-party vendor. MBM is not responsible for any privacy breach committed by a third-party vendor.

Trademark and Copyright Violations
MBM acknowledges, and upholds to the best of its ability, the copyrights and trademarks of the material submitted to the website. As such, the administrators vigorously moderate the content submitted to MBM.

You agree to only upload content to MBM of which you are the original author holding the copyright or trademark, or material that you have permission from the copyright or trademark holder to distribute. This acknowledgment extends to music you may wish to include in the background of videos you submit. Any material you wish to post, and which you do not hold the copyright or trademark, MUST be accompanied by independently verifiable permission from the copyright or trademark holder giving you permission to distribute their material.

Any material found to violate a copyright or trademark will be removed from the website upon notice to the administrators of the violation, and the user who posted it will be notified. Repeated violations by a given user will be considered a Terms of Use violation.

If MBM finds that a specific user has taken any material from this website to distribute elsewhere, MBM reserves the right to terminate that account immediately without prior notification to the user, nor will the user receive a refund of MBM subscription fees paid.

IN SHORT, MBM TAKES COPYRIGHT AND TRADEMARK VIOLATIONS SERIOUSLY. DO NOT VIOLATE COPYRIGHTS OR TRADEMARKS ON THIS WEBSITE. THE ADMINISTRATORS WILL TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION SHOULD YOU DO SO, UP TO AND INCLUDING TERMINATION OF YOUR ACCOUNT. PLEASE RESPECT THE COPYRIGHTS AND TRADEMARKS OF OTHERS.

Content Guidelines
Content should be relevant to the spirit and purpose of the MBM website. Keep in mind that this is a male body modification website when making submissions, and submit content accordingly. The administrators of MBM will determine, in their sole discretion, what are appropriate or non-appropriate content submissions. This can include both public and private profile areas of the website. Submissions of content that contains non-consensual activity will be rejected and removed from the site. Content submitted showing females or any portion of their anatomy is prohibited on this site.

WE TAKE THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN AND ANIMALS FROM ALL FORMS OF ABUSE SERIOUSLY. IF WE NOTICE UPLOADING OF ANY CONTENT CONTAINING CHILD PORNOGRAPHY OR BESTIALITY FROM YOUR ACCOUNT, THE MATERIAL WILL BE REMOVED FROM MBM AND YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE TERMINATED AND BANNED AS CLOSE TO IMMEDIATELY AS POSSIBLE WITH FORFEITURE OF SUBSCRIPTION FEES PAID. MBM HAS A ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY FOR THIS KIND OF ACTIVITY.

1. Video Content

Video content is limited to a file size of 75MB per file, regardless of length of the video. Submissions of videos of a file size greater than 75MB will be rejected. Should you desire to upload a video in a file size more than 75MB, please break the video into two or more files with the same file name and label them A, B, C, etc. For example, mymodification-A, mymodification-B, where “mymodification” is replaced by the name you wish to use for your video submission.

Video submissions should be named, categorized using the drop down menus provided, and otherwise made identifiable to your account.

No notification will be provided to the submitting user if a video is rejected for inclusion on the website.

2. Photo Content

Photos are limited to a file size of 1.5MB (1536kb) per photo. Submissions of a file size greater than 1.5MB (1536kb) will be rejected. Please ensure your photos are 1.5MB (1536kb) or smaller.

Photo submissions should be named, categorized using the drop down menus provided, and otherwise made identifiable to your account.

MBM is not a “photo dump” for your camera. If the administrators find photos in your submission that are materially similar to photos you’ve either posted previously or with the same submission, MBM reserves the right to edit the submission by approving only one copy of the content provided in the photo. Generally we encourage quality over quantity in photo submissions.

No notification will be provided to the submitting user if a photo is rejected for inclusion on the website.

3. Discussion Groups

A variety of discussion groups are made available for MBM users with similar interests to converse with one another.

Some discussion groups have restricted membership and payment of fees to access the broader MBM website does not guarantee your entrance into any specific discussion group. Group membership can be restricted by the moderator of that group, who may be an administrator of this website or a user designated by the administrators to moderate the content and membership of a specific group.

SPAM will not be tolerated in the discussion groups. SPAM postings are considered a Terms of Use violation.

Any discussion of illegal activities will not be tolerated in discussion groups and any such discussion will be considered a Terms of Use violation.

Idemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold MBM and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, staff, partners and licensors harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of content you submit, post, transmit, modify or otherwise make available through MBM, your use of the MBM website, your connection to the MBM website, your violation of the MBM terms of service, or your violation of any rights of another.

No Commercial Use or Reuse
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade, resell or exploit for any commercial purposes, any portion or use of, or access to, the MBM website (including content, advertisements, and software). This includes using the site for academic, commercial, or any other research not for your own personal use. Doing so will result in immediate termination of your account with forfeiture of subscription fees paid.

Trademark information
You agree that all of the MBM website trademarks, trade names, service marks and MBM logos and brand features, and product and service names are trademarks and the property of MBM. You agree not to display or use in any manner the MBM marks.

Terms of Service updates
From time to time MBM may find a need to change, update, or otherwise modify these terms of service. This can happen at any time without prior notification of the MBM membership. It is up to you as an MBM user to periodically review the MBM terms of service and use the service in accordance with the guidelines therein.
